Confidence Indicators Roughly Unchanged in June
Manufacturing confidence improved a few points but it remained well below long-term average.
Finnish construction confidence indicator turned down in June after a recovery one month earlier. It fell to -15 points (-10 in May) while its long-term average is -8. Confidence is thus weaker than its long-term normal.
The service sector confidence indicator improved only marginally in June. It scored +2 points, one point up from the revised figure one month earlier. The long-term average is +13.
Confidence in retail trade reversed its improving trend in June. Retail trade confidence indicator is substantially below its average level. It fell to -21 points in June (revised figure -14 in May) while its long-term average is -2.
