No Improvement in Confidence Indicators
Finnish manufacturing confidence indicator weakened slightly in November after a minor upswing one month earlier. Its latest figure is -11, which is two points less than the revised figure in October. Confidence is well below its long-term average (+2).
The Finnish construction confidence indicator lost a few points in November. The latest indicator figure is -33 points (revised figure -28 in October) while the long-term average is -8.
The service sector confidence indicator improved only marginally and it stayed still below zero. The indicator scored -3 points in November (-4 in October) while its long-term average is +13.
Finnish retail trade confidence was almost unchanged at a low level in November. The confidence indicator scored -23 points (-22 in October). The long-term average is -1.
