Programme Highlights

Programme Structure

Mentoring is carried out as group mentoring. While the programme outline is set, mentors and groups can establish their own goals. A special advantage of group mentoring is that, in addition to the mentor’s support, mentees also receive peer support from each other. All mentees are expected to participate actively in meetings. Each group decides for itself the exact times and locations of the meetings. Some of the meetings can be held remotely. 

• Duration: from January to April 2025 – see programme schedule below!

• Meetings: 5 group meetings and 1 company visit

• Workload: 10 hours for 2 months

As a mentor, you have a unique opportunity to share your expertise and experience with ten eager international students through group mentoring. This project offers you:

• Guidance and support throughout the mentoring process.
• New perspectives from students and shared experiences from other mentors.
• The chance to help international students find a career in Finland.

The mentoring process lasts for two months and includes three meetings and one company visit to the mentor’s company. The time required from the mentor is approximately 10 hours, depending on their schedule and interest. The timeframe is from January to April 2025.

By participating, you will gain valuable experience in mentoring and the opportunity to share your expertise while helping future international talents find a career in Finland.
