Business Confidence Remained Low in All Sectors
Finnish manufacturing confidence indicator weakened slightly in December, caused by an increase in stocks of final goods. On the other hand, production is expected to grow slightly. The confidence indicator stood at -11 points.
Finnish construction confidence recovered somewhat from the very low levels recorded earlier this year. However, the overall business situation is still weak. The confidence indicator figure in December was -21 points.
The service sector confidence indicator stayed unchanged at a relatively low level. It scored -2 points in December.
Finnish retail trade confidence indicator declined further in December, reaching the lowest score in its history. It fell to -27 points from -23 in November.
