Who we are

Loihde is a Finnish security services company with roots dating back over 140 years and a presence across more than 24 locations in Finland. The company focuses on safeguarding organisations’ operations, people, and assets by delivering comprehensive security solutions under one accountable partner.

At the core of Loihde’s approach is the One Security concept which is a unified operating model that integrates cyber security, physical security, and IT/OT security into one coherent, managed whole. Instead of fragmented point solutions, Loihde acts as both security integrator and service provider, designing, implementing, and operating security as a single, continuously managed whole.

Examples of concrete solutions

• At the operational core is our 24/7 Cyber Security operation Center (CSOC), Network operations Center (NOC) and a Security Technology Service Center which we can combine into one coordinated capability.  This unified operating model ensures continuous monitoring of cyber threats, network performance, and physical security systems, from endpoints and infrastructure to access control, video surveillance, and critical OT environments. Loihde enables a single, synchronised security operation with shared situational awareness, rapid incident response, and clear accountability.

• We help organisations unify and secure their entire connected operating environment from users and facilities to networks and critical systems. For example, by integrating identity and access management with physical access control, we ensure that when a person’s role changes or employment ends, both digital and physical access rights are automatically updated across all systems and sites. This reduces insider risk, eliminates manual processes, and improves compliance.

Additional highlight in brief

In 2025, Loihde signed an agreement to acquire BLC Turva, one of the country’s leading security technology and services companies. The acquisition significantly strengthens our nationwide security technology capabilities and expands our end to end One Security offering across physical and digital domains.

Once completed, the transaction will position Loihde as the clear market leader in comprehensive security solutions in Finland.

The transaction is currently subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority KKV and has not yet been finally approved.
